Partnering with Indivisible (3/12/23)

We are excited to announce that Markers For Democracy is now a member of Indivisible, a nationwide resource, and coalition for grassroots organizations like us. Nothing has changed in our identity or operations. What has changed is our increased access to intelligence, ideas, expertise, funding, collaboration opportunities, tech, and more.

Indivisible is a movement of thousands of group leaders and more than a million members taking regular, iterative, and increasingly complex actions to resist the GOP’s agenda, elect local champions and fight for progressive policies.

Indivisible expands our reach to more activists who can join our community and participate in all of our programs. You may have seen MFD popping up on Mobilize recently. That’s a direct result of our Indivisible membership. Indivisible provides free access to the Mobilize platform for all of its member organizations, which allows anyone to discover MFD and our events. This is just one way that Indivisible is helping us grow and strengthen our outreach.

Indivisible also has provided us with an ActBlue page so that we can raise funds to support our operations. These funds would offset the platform costs for our activities and outreach, including our newsletter, website, and Zoom. We also can use funds we raise to support certain postcarding campaigns.

Will you help fund our work? If everyone who has benefitted from our programming made a small contribution, our costs would be covered in no time. A little bit goes a long way. Just click here to support Markers For Democracy so we can keep sending the newsletters to your inbox, lighting up the Zoom boxes, postcarding, and activating voters. Thank you!
(Donations are not tax-deductible.)

Please note that our ActBlue page to support the infrastructure of Markers For Democracy is separate and apart from the Markers For Democracy Giving Circle.

For even more information about Indivisible, please take a few minutes and watch the Rachel Maddow segment she did this week on the organization. and "The Unrepresentatives" project which is focused on flipping Republican-held Congressional districts that President Biden won in 2020, including six NY districts.
