Two Weeks Until Election Day (10/17/21)

There are two weeks until Election Day on November 2nd. We have been writing Postcards To Voters for elections in Ohio, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, but there are elections all over the country, including our own backyard. One of our mantras is #StateAndLocalElectionsMatter so please make sure that you vote, whether early, by mail, or in-person on Election Day. For those of you voting in NY, see below the detailed section on the NY election including pertinent dates and links and lots of information about the five propositions on the NY ballot.

Wherever you are registered to vote, please make a plan to vote and remind your adult kids, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and family. So many people forget that voting happens every year, not once every four. Local elections are often won and lost on turnout and by very few votes. Take the action of reminding a few people you know to vote. The last day to request an absentee ballot in NY is tomorrow (10/18).

Additionally, let's finish the cycle strong by writing postcards until they tell us to put our Sharpies down, and then text bank and phone bank after that. We do not want to wake up on November 3rd wondering what we could have done to keep Virginia from turning into the next Texas. It is that close and that important so please look below at the postcarding section and at the action items and join us as we leave it all on the field.
